Having good, helpful category pages is important too, but they are not a substitute for a hub post. A hub post should be a blog post that gives a comprehensive overview of the main topic and which links to your spoke pages for more detail on each sub-topic. This kind of blog post is often called a ‘cornerstone’ or ‘pillar’ post and should be like an ‘ultimate guide’ to the main topic.

One of the recommendations after a recent SEO audit was to build out my category pages. Previously, they were just the basic pages that came with my theme. I used Kadence elements to build them out, and it took what seemed like forever. Would these work as content clusters or do they need to be blog posts?
